In-Home Pet Sitting

Longer sitting sessions in your home for animals who do badly with an empty house.

For the ones who watch the window

Some animals are fine with a visit and a walk. Others sit at the front window from the moment the car leaves and do not move until it comes back. Those are the ones in-home sitting is for. Instead of a short drop-in, the sitter stays for a stretch, keeping company through the part of the day the animal finds hardest, rather than a quick pass through the kitchen. It suits anxious dogs, elderly dogs, recently rehomed dogs, and any animal whose behaviour falls apart in an empty house. It also suits owners who have tried the drop-in version and come home to something chewed. We would rather be honest at the meet-and-greet about which of the two your animal actually needs.

Working out what your animal needs

Tell us what happens when the house is empty: the barking, the chewing, the not eating, the accidents. That answer decides between a visit and a sitting session more reliably than the length of the trip does. We will say so if we think a shorter visit would do the job just as well.

Furry Friends. Care happens in your home or in a supervised home environment, on your schedule. Call (571) 389-4369.
